A lot of people asked me what web site I designed and that are still online... Here they come, click on image to visit the site...

Graphic-Exchange is a personal project, where I present the other designers projects that I like and inspires me...

mediafix is the agency where I am art director... the web site changes often...

moreYELLOW has been done with Jordan Mauriello for his compagny, I also did his print communication in 2006.

Beekeeper

Yeasterday was a strange and nice day... an unusual day and I love this... In jully I did a treck in the mountaisn around our home, with donkeys that brings my daugther and packages... Well, the guy who organize this is also beekeeper, so I ask him if I can take picture next time he will take the honey... and it was yeasterday...

He was amazing, I think I have done nice images, but it was a wired experience... we werre well protected, but at a time, I started to be stung and it was too much for me, I run away ;)... Pictures online soon...

A lot of people ask me how do I get these effects... if they are done with Photoshop... of course I use photoshop, but only based on real elements than I found in second hand markets...

Here comes one of them... the passport of a man called Pierre Laffarge and who was born in 1902... Maybe his grand grand child will see this site and found this image... that's would be magical... I love to give life to a remember...

A new way to see photographies...

Doing photography is harder than graphic design. However, both are linked together. This is a picture I took in 2004, when I lived an apartment in Clermont-Ferrand... is that important? I mean, do you need to know where and when it was taken? No, it is just a feeling, a vision, my vision... take it as it is, an image.

I will try to exhibit one as often as possible, and after seeing all the images I rediscovered last night, I can put 1 a day for a duration of 2 months.

I can't believe I finally did it... The last time I did a "new version" of this web site was 3 years ago, in august 2003... 3 years of "I need to do a new version", "I need to udpate it"... I have did so many versions, considering 15 different ways to navigate, 20 different ways to present the projects...

A particularly new phenomenon since 2003 is the "blog"... I can't imagine this new version without a "blog" option, like an everyday diary... the question is, why? Why do I need to do this? Who reads it? I think the first user is simply myself... to know what I have done in the past...

I remember that I read an interview of Michael Stipe (REM singer) where he said "When we start to record a new album, I need to hear our old ones to convince myself I can do nice things". It is the same for me - each time I take on a new project, I need to see what I have done to say to myself, 'I can do it'.

For people who discover me and my work, I am also running graphic-exchange (since June 2006), to present all the other people's works and projects that inspire me. I work at mediafix (since august 2002, august is a good month for me). Chlorophile is a project I have with my wife, but it is not online yet.

So...you can now investigate all the projects I have done year by year... 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003... The older projects, or the personal ones are in an other section called "older & other"...

The photography portfolio is just a temporary version - this is the next step, to do a real photo portfolio. In the shop, you can by some of my printed stuff.
